We treat asthma, allergic rhinitis (hay fever), sinusitis, COPD, food allergy, drug allergy, insect sting allergy, skin allergy, headaches to include sinus and migraines, chronic or recurrent cough, nasal and chest congestion, and ear problems.

Hospital affiliations include Catawba Valley Medical Center and Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory; also, Davis Regional Medical Center and Iredell Memorial in Statesville. We file most insurances.

Allergy testing can be done by skin tests and/or blood tests (RAST). Conventional or rapid desensitization (allergy shots) is offered to appropriate patients.

Spirometry (a breathing test), oxygen saturation, an EarCheck test, and mini CAT Scan of the sinuses are available in our office. You get quick results and medication treatment can begin the same day, when indicated.

A mini CAT Scan of the sinuses is available in our Hickory office.
You get quick results at our allergy and asthma center. Medication treatment can begin the same day.

Do you have an itchy runny nose; itching palate and throat; burning, tearing, and itching eyes?
You probably are suffering from hay fever.

Have you used nasal sprays, antihistamines, and decongestants without relief during the pollen season?

Your medication may need changing. If you are using a over-the-counter nasal spray, such as AfrinĀ®, it may be making you worse. You can benefit from skin testing and allergy shots.

Is your nose still congested or your head hurting in spite of treating your hay fever?
It could be sinusitis caused by a bacterial infection which needs antibiotics.

Allergic rhinitis or hay fever causes the nasal passages to swell which prevents the sinuses around your eyes and nose from draining properly. Nasal allergies can lead to the complication of sinusitis. We offer a sinus mini CT Scan in our office which helps us make a quick determination concerning sinus disease.
